Should Oliver Stone make RFK?

I was wanting to share my thoughts on this. I have been thinking for quite awhile now that I would love to see Oliver Stone make a movie about Robert Kennedy's murder just like he did with JFK. I think that since this case isn't as widely known as JFK is it would help to bring to light a lot of information that a lot of people don't already know. I don't know about everyone here but I was very disappointed in Emilio Estevedz's Bobby. I loved the footage of him in it but it wasn't what I thought it should have been. Anyway please discuss your views, thought, and opinions. :) :) :) :)

	Bill O'Reilly's 'Killing Kennedy': Book On JFK Assassination Coming This Fall NEW YORK (AP) — After the big success of "Killing Lincoln," Bill O'Reilly is back on the case of a presidential assassination. The Fox News host and best-selling author is collaborating with Martin Dugard on "Killing Kennedy: The End of Camelot." Henry Holt and Company announced Thursday the book will come out this fall. O'Reilly says in a statement that "Killing Kennedy" will "answer many questions" about the death of JFK, who was murdered on Nov. 22, 1963. Holt also announced Thursday that a children's edition of O'Reilly's Lincoln book, "Lincoln's Last Days," will come out in August. While the mainstream media was busy burying Oliver Stone, in the wake of "JFK",
these tabloid shows were crawling over each other to put out more and
more information (some of it mis/disinformation; some really good
reporting too).

the garrison tapes

after listening to an archived show with john barbour i was compelled to get a copy of the garrison tapes on vhs. It is a perfect companion to the movie JFK even though much of the movie is embelished i still credit it with taking my life-long impression that something was not right about the death of number thirty five into a need to research any and all raw data on november 22 1963 i could find. currently looking for info on the daltex building and a first generation copy of the fox set of autopsy photos. anyway thanks for the info on barbours documentry

I am putting together a youtube ch. to share my collection of raw JFK stuff and at leaset previews of my dvds

I would love some opinions for the nest of archive footage etc.

It will be slow but I am aiming for worthy quality stuff.

I am learning this from scratch as well so suggestions on the process would be valued as well.

Obviously the legally blind guy uploading images in motion is ironic , but as I always say the conspiracy that executed JFK is so evident that a blind man sees it.

I'm reading the Secret Team right now and it's as many of you have experienced, interesting and fascinating. But there is something nagging at me about the man. He never actually says anything concrete. Nothing is end noted. For all I know it's a fiction book. I've heard Len's interviews with him and I've heard Len's defense about why Fletcher didn't "name names" and he seems like a very likably, very smart man. But that he went to his grave never actually giving up the truth, even as an aside and OFF THE RECORD to those who befriended him, kind of rubs me the wrong way and makes me suspicious of his intentions. Anyone else?

As a work of the American federal government, the recording is in the public domain. This two-hour tape recording of the communications of Air Force Onepersonnel following the assassination is a new discovery which was recently donated to the National Archives. As part of NARA’s roll-out strategy for this high-profile item, the digitized recording was uploaded to Wikimedia Commons at the same time as it was revealed on archives.gov. We hope that the upload of these files to Wikimedia Commons will help increase their exposure while encouraging Wikimedians to add value to them through transcribing them or using them as encyclopedic source material and subject matter.

As the 50^th anniversary of the assassination of John F. Kennedy approaches, there is a growing flurry of material about—or even from—the Kennedy clan. This includes “insider” accounts and what are described as exciting, must-read and must-watch revelations.

Yet, for some reason, little of it is truly revelatory, or if it is, it seems, almost by design, very, very small potatoes indeed.

Take for example a new documentary by Bobby Kennedy’s daughter, for HBO. What’s the big revelation? That Bobby feared…are you ready… that someone would throw acid in the face of his children. Who? The mafia. And when was this a threat? In the 1950s.When RFK was a Senate investigator, years before he and his brother ever got near the White House. And years before his brother and then he himself were killed under still-unresolved circumstances.

Got that? Nothing about elements other than “professional criminals.” Threat to his children, not him. And this was before RFK became Attorney General and started really going after the mob, and everyone else.

Oh—and nothing about who…killed him.

That’s Hollywood!

Dartmouth College scientist: Oswald photo genuine

HANOVER, N.H., Nov. 6 (UPI) -- An iconic photo of accused presidential assassin Lee Harvey Oswald was not faked as claimed by some, an American academic says.

Computer scientist Hany Farid at Dartmouth College digitally analyzed the picture with modern forensic tools and says it was not altered, the college announced Thursday.

The photo shows the alleged John F. Kennedy assassin in his Dallas back yard holding up both a rifle and Marxist literature. Oswald and others claimed the photo to be faked, citing inconsistent shadows and lighting.

"If we had found evidence of photo tampering, then it would have suggested a broader plot to kill JFK," Farid said. "Those who believe that there was a broader conspiracy can no longer point to this photo as possible evidence."

FYI: It's alleged that one of young Lee Harvey Oswald's favorite shows was I LED THREE LIVES. On the 1950's TV show BACHELOR FATHER, John Forsythe plays uncle Bentley raising his teenage neice. Their house boy (an adult Asian man), proclaims in an ad for the show that he LED THREE LIVES, one as a house boy, one as a rumba instructor and one as a spy. Another piece of LHO trivia.

I heard Mark de Valk, on the last show, trying to convince you to go to Dallas. I think that you're first intuition is correct. That city is a murderous waste of building materials.

Hawaii is a much better place to host your event. I really enjoyed watching the broadcast last time with Wes Swearington.

Conspiracy Theory, the original movie

Has anyone ever seen the original VHS movie, "Conspiracy Theory"? Note that I am not talking about the 1997 remake of the same name, which starred Mel Gibson and Patrick Swazy(as the CIA control officer). I saw the newer one, it is okay but the new remake seems to delete all references to NASA and the attempts to kill the President (via the Space Shuttle), which was in earlier storyline.

I'm guessing the first movie was made in the late 1980's.

I'd love to have this original movie, I wish I would have copied it when I first rented it many years ago.I think it has a better plot in the movie than the remake, although mostly follows the same storyline.

Seems the forum has gone dead, but just wanted to start a thread praising Jim Hougan's excellent piece on Jonestown. I think it's a fascinating - in the most bleakest way imaginable - subject, and I learnt a bundle from the interview. IMO this is where the show should branch out, rather than beating a dead horse on the incompetence of the Dallas Police department. Good stuff, Len and Jim.

King, like all frauds your end is approaching

In November of 1964, fearful of his connection to the Communist Party through Stanley Levison, the FBI anonymously sent Martin Luther King the following threatening letter, along with a cassette that contained the fruits of a 9 month surveillance project — allegedly incriminating audio recordings of King with women in various hotel rooms — headed by William C. Sullivan.

A decade later, Sullivan told investigators that they had simply wanted King to resign from the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. King, on the other hand, had seen the letter as an invitation to take his own life.

The motor-scooter Doug refers to was a Cushman, not a "Pushman". We old-timers remember those red Cushman scooters. Cushman also made little utility trucks and little 3-wheeled mail trucks. Another American business probably gone under by now.

Please ask Jim Fetzer re: the Miller Reporting Company owned by Paul Kuntzler paid a lot money to assemble a group of prominent JFK assassination experts (Jim included) to the Willard Hotel in Wash DC in May, 2006; what is going on with that group if anything? One of those experts was Thomas Lipscomb, noted journalist and publisher who was investigating the authenticity of the photographic record, including the Zapruder film, he unearthed "disturbing discrepancies"; what is going on with his work? Please ask Jim on the next show please.

I haven't heard Pat Valentino in several weeks. Any news or work from him?

According to the book "JFK - The Documented Screenplay " page 92, Jim Garrison told Bernard Fensterwald, William Turner and Richard E. Sprague in a meeting
that David Ferrie told Jim Garrison that Tippit was one of the shooters (guns) on the roof of the Daltex building.

Was Tippit killed by someone (not L.H. Oswald) because he (Tippit) WAS one of the shooters (to silence him)?
