  • I don't think anyone doesn't want to celebrate President Kennedy's life but to remove the word assassination as well as that X on the street is just wrong. Kennedy had a huge impact on American and world history that much is a fact. However his assassination had an impact as well. It was a traumatic experience for this country and sadly you can't talk about JFK's life and NOT talk about the day he was killed. Sadly the two go hand in hand. It's also wrong for people in the media or whatever to try to gloss over or sugarcoat history.
