The Funny Secret History of BOR Forums: Evolution #5

As far back as I'm able to trace it, this forum is actually the fifth incarnation of the BOR forum.  The first two forums, though primitive by today's standards, were quietly preserved by crawlers, and can be found at the links below.

Then there was the famous "grey" forum, which ran from approximately August 2004 through September 2005.  It used a PHP style template called "Method to the Madness;" the forum members at the time couldn't guess how fitting that name would be.  After numerous hacks repeatedly gutted the members' increasingly frenzied efforts to post their best work, the battle for the forum crescendoed spectacularly, in the greatest troll-bang slamorama of all time.  Flabbergasted, the administrator blew it up.



The only remnants of material from the third forum that exist today are those that were made for personal use by the members of that era.

Then there was the secure but primitive fourth forum, which became a target of opportunity for pill and porn ads.

Today we have the new forum, the fifth forum in traceable BOR history, which looks better and is better organized than the others, runs smooth, and may very well be strong enough to last awhile --



or at least until the ice cap falls off.
